Yosemite Snowshoe Winter Camping

Snow Shoeing is a wonderful way to see the Yosemite backcountry in late Winter and early Spring. There are no crowds and everything is very peaceful. Think of this trip as a backpacking trip and the snow shoes as the way to walk on top of the snow. No new skills have to be learned to join this trip.
Basic Mountaineering
6 Days / 5 Nights, Moderate - Strenuous.
Our Basic Mountaineering Trip is designed for those wanting to experience something new in the backcountry and see it with snow still on the ground. This is a skills course designed to give you the basics of mountaineering, including, ice-ax self arrest techniques, traveling on a rope team in crampons, and the Alpine style of travel and climbing in the backcountry.
El Pico de Orizaba (18,850')
8 Days / 7 Nights, Strenuous.
El Pico de Orizaba (18,850') is the 3rd tallest mountain in North America and can be climbed during a week long itinerary. The altitude is extreme and depending on conditions, the climbing can be straightforward. However, the climbing can also be very difficult so you need to come prepared for any conditions a big mountain like this can produce.
Aconcagua (22,841')
18 days / 17 nights, Strenuous.
International climbing & travel, culture, and a climb up the highest mountain in the Western hemisphere and highest outside of Asia. Aconcagua is also one of the famous "7 summits."
