Rock Climbing - Rock Camps - Reviews
Just a quick note
to let you know I had a fabulous time at the rock camp! Graham was a superb guide and we had great dynamics in the group. I would and have recommended the class to my friends. Thanks again for providing such a great venue for learning to rock climb. I plan to continue climbing and hope to take a more advanced class in the future with SYMG. Much kudos to you and Graham!

I wanted you to know now that both Albert and Graham were superb guides and that we had a great time. Many thanks, and I am sure we will see you again.

Albert exceeded our expectations as a guide. He is very safety conscious and stuck to all the rules. At the same time, we climbed together like we were old buddies by the second day. He was very flexible with our days, giving us rests whenever we needed them and swims on a daily basis. Thanks for your help with getting this set up.

We (I think I speak in the name of the whole group) had a great week climbing the Sierra with Zeke. Keep up the good work!

I would like to thank you for all of your instruction and help with reintroducing me to rock climbing. It was a wonderful experience and trip. I am a firm believer that all things happen for reasons. I really feel that I finished my trip learning more positive lessons than I could have anticipated.

Just finished my 2nd Rock Camp in 2 years with SYMG and just wanted to express my thanks for another great time. The guides were great, totally professional and great guys. The food was excellent. If you're ever looking for an endorsement, let me know!

We recently completed a five day rock climbing camp with your company. We had researched climbing instruction programs from the Colorado Mountain School to the Yosemite Mountaineering School. However, based on your program materials, conversations with your staff, and a recommendation from a friend, we chose SYMG to learn techniques in classic lead climbing. While the itinerary of the week fulfilled our expectations, it was our guide who made our trip truly spectacular.
Positive, resourceful, and patient are a few words which describe our guide. His versatility as an instructor showed through in many ways. When a Sierra storm threatened, he used the time to practice anchors and knots with us on the rack on his van. His hands-on, repetitive style, and sense of humor made the learning process fun and effective. All of this, combined with his appropriate level of risk taking made us feel confident and empowered when leading on the rock.
We were most impressed however, by the obvious fact that our guide loves his job. His personal touches, attention to food requests, and his willingness to be flexible, made us feel like more than just clients. We value the skills learned and cherish thememories, and know that the role our guide played in the week made it all possible.
We will endeavor to recommend your company in the future, particularly if you continue employing guides of such high caliber. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.
