Follow the above directions and call 800-231-4575 should you have difficulties on the road. There are also public transportation options, though this route is a rather lengthy choice from a time standpoint. If you would like to explore public transportation options please call our office for information. 99% of our clients who travel from out of state rent a car to travel from the airport to Bass Lake.

Check In

Check in at the front desk anytime after 4:00 P. M. under Southern Yosemite Mountain Guides. The clerk will direct you to your chalet. Park in front of your chalet. On day 2 of your trip, you'll also drive to the trailhead in the high country which is a scenic mountain road, typically a 1-1:15 hr. drive. Trailheads are considered safe places to park a car though valuables or excess baggage should be left with your guides at the SYMG office or in the Resort's safe. You should also not leave food in a vehicle at the trailheads due to bear activity in those areas.
