Dear Ian, I am writing
to say that SYMG exceeded my highest expectations. I had the best hiking week-end (aside from those pesky mosquitoes), and was so lucky to have a mountain guide like Steve. The camp site was great: comfortable sleeping bag, tent, and delicious food. I hiked to Madera peak, went swimming in the creek, and saw the highlights of Yosemite valley all in a day and a half!

I wanted to send a note to say that we had a WONDERFUL time on our hiking trip last weekend. I had absolutely no idea what to expect and had no preconceived ideas as to what it would be like so I was completely overwhelmed at how amazing the whole experience was. I hiked up to places I never thought I could (or would) go to and saw some spectacular scenery that I nearly forgot existed. My goal on this trip was to relax, not think about the office, and work out some major stress that has been building up for quite some time... That's EXACTLY what I did. I haven't felt that "relaxed" in a very long time.
I was also quite impressed at the knowledge that Colby had of the entire area and the environment. He offered information and answered all of our questions that we posed to him. I felt safe and secure with him the entire time and he is also an excellent cook. All-in-all, we had a fantastic time and a wonderful adventure. My many thanks to you and to Colby for making that possible. I would definitely consider utilizing your services again - in fact, I've recommended it to several people already.

Ian-Just back from our hiking trip and wanted to tell you that we had a GREAT time! Colby was a fantastic guide and made one hell of a mango salsa! As a matter of fact, everything he made for us was great! Colby handled (everthing) like a pro. Just wanted to tell you that I had a great time, will recommend it to all my friends, and will certainly do it again. Please give my regards to Colby on a job well done and thanks to you for all the help planning the trip!

We want to thank you for the wonderful time we had on our trip with SYMG last week. It was an experience we will remember for a long time. The weather was beautiful, the activities great fun, and we had a really enjoyable and relaxing 3 days. Our guide was wonderful. She was very professional and personable. She worked very hard to ensure that we would be happy with our experience. Also, he knowledge of the history of the land and of the animal and plant life added greatly to our enjoyment.I was also quite impressed at the knowledge that Colby had of the entire area and the environment. He offered information and answered all of our questions that we posed to him. I felt safe and secure with him the entire time. He is also an excellent cook. All of our meals were prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail. His Mango Salsa was fantastic!! I plan to make some and take it to the next bar-b-que with some friends :-) I know they'll love it :-)

SYMG supplies everything from simple guidance to gear and gourmet food and caters to customers from the highly experienced to the highly impetuous--the novice who can see an adventure in a magazine, and that same weekend get to live it without even learning to read a compass.
