Hike For Discovery
Hello and thank you for your interest in our Hike for Discovery program in Yosemite. At SYMG, we are honored to be 
chosen by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) in 2006 to be their official adventure outfitter and partner for the Hike for Discovery Yosemite program. We will be bringing the same care, professionalism and enthusiasm that we are famous for throughout the entire Sierra to these wonderful events. The hikes have been designed to offer the participants a wide variety of spectacular sights and challenges in Yosemite. The trips are 3-days, 2 nights with 1 main event that you'll be training for. Although overall we hope that the groups raising money and training for these events are large, the hiking groups will remain small and manageable with 1 Yosemite Mountain Guide and your training coach for the day.
We've planned everything including a training program to prepare you for your adventure. In true Southern Yosemite Mountain Guide's style, along with LLS we've covered all the details: hotels, proper training preparation, transportation, meals, expert guides, and even parties. All that is missing is YOU!
In selected markets around the country, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has scheduled a series of informational meetings which you can attend, to learn more about this exciting program. Additionally, you can learn more via the Internet at the HikeforDiscovery.org website. If you do not currently live in an area where this program is being offered, LLS will notify you of when the program will be started close to you.
