3 Days, Beginner to Intermediate
The Yosemite Fly Fishing School is a three day course designed to teach skills necessary to not only confidently fish Yosemite waters, but create a foundation to successfully fly fish for trout anywhere. We'll cover casting techniques, fly selection, reading waters, entomology, dry fly, emerger, and indicator nymph techniques, and put these skills to good use fishing for the Brooks, Browns & Rainbows of Yosemite National Park. We'll fish Yosemite's premier trout streams; the Merced River and the Tuolumne River, becoming better fly fishers each day. We'll spend our evenings after dinner learning to tie flies, and relaxing in the lodge. Guide(s), terminal tackle, and extra flies are all included. We can also provide a rod/reel rental if reserved in advance for a small additional fee.
