- Fly Rod / Reel / Line: Your guide will provide rod/reel rentals if reserved in advance; cost is $15.00.
- Flies / Leader0: All terminal tackle is provided by your guide.
- CA Fishing License: If you don't have one you'll need one. 2-day licenses are $11and available at local shops.
- Hiking Boots / Wading Shoes: Bring a pair of comfortable walking shoes or lightweight hiking boots that you can walk in the streams with and that are big enough to accommodate your waders (if your waders are stockingfoot style).
- Waders: Waders are optional. You don't need them during the summer, though they may allow you to be in & out of the streams a bit more comfortably early in the season.
- Sunglasses: Polarized are best for fishing as it helps you see into the water to sight fish.
- Personal Toiletries: Sunscreen, chapstick, etc.
- Medications: Bring any special meds, vitamins, bee sting kit, allergy medicine, etc.
- Water Bottle: Carry at least one, one liter plastic water bottle.
- Book / Journal: Not necessary, but you may be able to enjoy some quiet time prior to sleep or during the day.
- Camera: There will be many photo opportunities during the trip. Don't forget extra film/cards and batteries!
- Day Pack: Needed to carry any personal items you want along for the hike.
