- Swim Trunks: at least 2-3 pair
- Sandals: Teva style work best
- Pants: Long comfortable cotton pants or jeans for the evening. Maybe one extra khaki's or the like for plane travel etc.
- Shorts: 2 or 3 pairs for walking, traveling, swimming, etc. You'll be in shorts most of the time you are there.
- Shirts: Bring a handful of t-shirts or tank tops including 1 long sleeve for bugs and/or sun.
- Fleece: Fleece or pile, Patagonia style top It can get cold when in the highlands near Arenal. This item should be something to keep you warm at night, and comfortable enough to walk around in if it's cool during the days. No need to overdue it here.
- Rain Jacket / Shell: Always a good idea just in case we get some afternoon showers or protection from the wind.
- Bandana / Cap: Fishing Lids or bandannas are great for keeping the sweat out of your eyes and help you see the water better. Also, great for sun protection!
- Sunglasses: Polarized are best for fishing as it helps you see into the water to sight fish.
- Personal Toiletries, Meds, and Bug Repellent: Sunscreen, chapstick, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. Bring any special meds, vitamins, bee sting kit, allergy medicine, etc.
- Water Bottle: It is a dry climate so please carry at least one, one liter plastic water bottle.
- Camera and Film: There will be many photo opportunities during the trip. Make sure you have waterproof Ziplocs with you!
- Day Pack: Needed to carry any personal items you want along for the day. The above is by no means an exhaustive list. If you have questions, please call our office.
