Yosemite Adventure Trips

Wine and Wilderness

Join us for an amazing experience as we combine the beauty of California's High Sierra Mountains with the exquisite wines of California's Napa, Sonoma, and Santa Cruz Mountains' Wine Country. We hike into a stunning alpine lake base-camp while horses carry all of our personal belongings, camping gear, food and most importantly, the WINE! From our 9,000' lake-front basecamp, each day will present the opportunity to day hike to other lakes, fish for trout, relax or climb a nearby 11,000' peak. Each of our three nights in the backcountry will showcase spectacular wines hosted by wine-makers and winery owners from a variety of famous California wineries.

To kick off the 2008 series join James O'Shea, manager of the Acacia Vineyard, Moon Mountain Vineyard, and Sterling Vineyards tasting rooms on July 9-13. Jim will offer his wit and wisdom while pairing an array of wines to our tantalizing dinners all served around a blazing campfire in the mountain range John Muir aptly called "The Range of Light."
