Since 1991, Southern Yosemite Mountain Guides has shown thousands of people the beauty of the mountains and wild places in Yosemite and Sequoia-Kings Canyon Nat'l Parks as well as the Ansel Adams and John Muir Wilderness areas. At SYMG we realize that our clothes are not just a statement of fashion but rather are very important pieces of gear. Staying warm, staying cool, staying dry, and staying proctected all mean that we have more time to think of other things while on the trail like our client's safety and enjoyment for example.

From the PFG line to the Titanium line we use (and abuse) it all! You'll notice on our gear lists for each trip that we give examples of what Columbia pieces we are using and we recommend you use them too. Our guides are field testing and helping design the backcountry clothes and gear of the future.
